What Sugar Land Customers Say
Three companies quoted our windows. Two of them measured a width and left. These people measured both diagonals in every opening and then showed me that the two worst rooms were on the same corner of the house. That was the corner our slab guy had already flagged. The windows they installed there have been fine through two summers.
I called about a cracked picture window. I was told, politely, that it was the second crack in that opening and that they would not glaze it again until I had the wall looked at. I did not enjoy hearing it. They were right, and the eventual fix cost less than the four more panes I would have bought.
Our back patio slider had stopped latching in the heat. I assumed we were buying a new door. They rebuilt the track, reset the head and adjusted the strike for about a fifth of what a door would have cost, and told me exactly what would send me back to a replacement later on.
Fiberglass frames on the west elevation, vinyl on the sheltered side, and a clear explanation of why they were not selling us the same thing everywhere. The sill pans went in before the units and they made a point of showing me. First contractor who has ever wanted me to look at the flashing.
